We understand the emotional impact which surgery has on patients and we approach it with humanism, kindness and compassion.
These services are intended to provide comfort and relaxation for those individuals who approach a dental office with fear and apprehension, as well as for lengthy and challenging procedures which otherwise might tire the patients unnecessarily.
We provide dental services under conscious sedation in the form of nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") and/or medication, and under general anesthesia administered and monitored by specialized medical staff in anesthesia clinics.
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form. We provide the the treatment for root canals to restore oral health.

What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are titanium alloy screws that are anchored into the jawbone. Titanium alloy is the material that is used in knee and hip replacement procedures and is a strong lightweight and safe metal. Whether you are missing just one tooth, a few teeth or have a complete set of dentures, there are dental implant procedures available for you. With dental implants, you will regain your natural appearance and confidence as well as preserving vital bone structure important in maintaining your dental health.
Candidate for Dental Implants?
Dental implants can be place in most adults who are in good to moderate health. They are not typically placed in adolescents until they have reached their full expected height. Certain uncontrolled medical conditions may decrease the effectiveness of implant treatment, so be sure to discuss your full medical history with your doctor. Please ask your doctor to explain the full benefits and risks to see if tooth replacement with implants is right for you.
Dental implants are a specialty of Dr. Yahav. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Yahav feels confident that he can procure the perfect implant for each specific patient's needs.

Custom mouth guards can also be made at our offices. Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Obstructive sleep disorders are medical disorders of the sleep pattern characterized by a temporary, partial or complete, obstruction of the airway: Obstructive Sleep Apnea “Apnea” = Greek term meaning “without breath.”
During sleep there is an overall decrease in the muscle tone of the body. As the throat muscles relax, the soft palate and uvula vibrate while the air passes in and out, producing the sound of snoring. Snoring is produced by a partial obstruction of the airway. Snoring may increase due to alcohol / sedative consumption, weight gain, nasal obstruction and with age.
When the airway obstruction is complete, the condition is called ‘obstructive sleep apnea’ (OSA). OSA occurs in repeated episodes during the night. The episodes vary in length and frequency. During this time the individual continues to make efforts to breathe. Some of the symptoms indicative of OSA are snoring, fatigue, memory impairment, daytime sleepiness, poor work performance and loss of sexual interest. Severe OSA can result in serious complications, including heart failure. The diagnosis of OSA is made by specialized testing: an overnight sleep test called polysomnogram.
